The Imtrader Ed.6 – Imtrade & GRDC exploring pre-emergent summer grass control

Over the years, Imtrade Australia has participated in GRDC funded projects investigating various agronomic issues in Australian broadacre cropping. Imtrade Australia has recently partnered  with the GRDC to further develop control strategies for various weeds relevant to Australian production systems. Current projects are being under taken with the assistance of an Australian government AgVet priorities grant, with the latest project investigating potential residual control strategies for summer grass weeds in fallow situations. A large trial program commenced in October 2016 to explore a potential label extension for Imtrade Australia’s patented 900g/kg propyzamide, Edge 900, as a potential solution to this major agronomic issue. Completion of this work is expected to be early 2018 which, dependant on results, will be followed by a formal APVMA submission.

Once again, Imtrade Australia is exploring innovative options for Australian-specific agronomic issues, investing significant resources into Australian focused R&D.
